Boards and Committees

The Town of Tillsonburg looks for engaged citizens to participate on several boards and committees. Our boards and committees are comprised of various Tillsonburg residents, Town Staff, and/or members of Council. Membership of Boards and Committees is renewed every four years, with the change of Council.

Committee/Board Application and Vacancies

The Town is currently accepting applications to fill two (2) positions on the Affordable and Attainable Housing Advisory Committee. This committee facilitates discussions, networking and planning to ensure expanded opportunities for affordable and attainable housing alternatives are available within the community and determines applicable strategies on affordable and attainable housing for Council review.

The Committee meets a minimum of four times a year, at 4:15 p.m. on the last Wednesday of that month. Members are expected to attend and participate in all meetings. Committees play an important role in the municipal decision-making process and provide an opportunity for public engagement and participation. The application deadline is Friday, February 6, 2026.
