Effective January 1, 2025, Ontario is adopting the 2024 Ontario Building Code to replace the 2012 Ontario Building Code.

Applicants may submit permit applications under the 2012 Ontario Building Code until March 31, 2025. These applications must have a substantial portion of the design and specifications completed prior to December 31, 2024. Construction for projects under the 2012 Ontario Building Code must commence within 6 months of permit issuance.

Indoor Pool Reopening Delayed

Please note the reopening of the indoor pool at the Tillsonburg Community Centre has been delayed as we work through the final steps of the inspection process.  

As a result, all aquatic programs will continue to operate at the Lake Lisgar Waterpark through Tuesday, August 4. Pending successful completion of the follow-up inspection on Tuesday, August 4, we expect the indoor pool to reopen for regularly scheduled programs beginning Wednesday, August 5. 

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue working to get the indoor pool reopened.
