Leaf Collection

2023 Program Details

The annual street side collection of loose leaves is scheduled to begin October 9.

This year every Tillsonburg resident will enjoy at least seven (7) weeks of curbside leaf collection. No more zones. No more rushing to get your leaves raked for a certain week. No more fretting about uncooperative weather.

Simply rake or place your leaves at the curb or edge of the street at any time during the collection period and we’ll do the rest! Please do not cover storm grates or clog roadside ditches.

UPDATE (November 28): Due to an unusually warm fall, leaf collection is continuing. However, be aware that a significant snowfall or other inclement winter weather event may end the program without warning.

How to Prepare Your Leaves

  • Do not bag your leaves
  • Simply rake or place your leaves at the curb or edge of the street at any time during the collection period
  • Do not cover storm grates or clog roadside ditches
  • Leaves only - Do not include brush, plants, weeds or loose dirt in the piles

As a reminder, leaves, brush and yard waste can be taken to the Transfer Station at 50 Newell Rd.
