Programs for Children

Annandale NHS offers interactive camps and classes that help children explore history and culture. We also offer presentations and workshops suitable for school and community groups.

Guided House Tours

Enjoy a fully guided, in-depth tour of Annandale House. Tours can be tailored to meet a wide range of curriculum needs. Explore topics such as the aesthetic art movement, life in Victorian times, mapping, stenciling and stain glass. These tours are by appointment only and are suitable for all classes. Please contact the Museum for dates and cost options.

Home School Programs

On the last Wednesday of the month, Annandale NHS is devoted to hosting programs for local Home School groups. Call Kathleen at 519-842-2294 to sign up.

Summer Drop-In Programming

Let's Celebrate!

Explore how different cultures celebrate special occasions! Each session highlights a unique festival or holiday from around the world through stories, crafts, music, and hands-on activities.

Our summer drop-in programming for children ages 3–7 offers a fun and engaging way to explore creativity and play. Each session runs from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., and parents or caregivers are required to stay and participate with their child. No registration is needed—just drop in and enjoy!

Summer Camp at Annandale NHS

Our summer camps are perfect for ages 7–12, offering a full day of fun, creativity, and adventure in a supportive and engaging environment. Camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with convenient drop-off starting at 7:30 a.m. and pick-up available until 5:00 p.m. The weekly fee is $166.25 (tax included), providing great value for a memorable summer experience.

Ticket to Ride: August 17 - 21

Buckle up for Ticket to Ride, a week-long summer camp where kids explore transportation through fun, hands-on activities. From race cars to trains and planes, campers discover how we move across land and air. By the end of the week, each child earns their “Junior Transportation Explorer” ticket—perfect for curious kids who love adventure!
