Lunch & Learn Events

Lunch is served at noon with the lecture following. Admission to tour the Museum is included in the ticket price. Hosted in the Corner Gallery (program room). Preregistration is required. Cost $37.75 single ticket (taxes included)

Join us for a cozy Thanksgiving lunch followed by a fascinating talk with Robyn Michaud, Assistant Professor of Indigenous Studies at Western University. She will share insights into the harvest and its connection to Indigenous traditions and stories.

Workshops

All of our workshops take place in the Program Room at Annandale National Historic Site. Come ready to learn, laugh, and connect! Program fees may vary, and while many sessions are geared toward adults, not all are strictly adult-only, so be sure to check the details for each event. 
Guests are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle and, of course, a great attitude!

Discover the art of needle punching at Annandale NHS with instructor Heather Cork! Needle punching is a creative fibre art that uses a special needle to loop yarn or fibre through fabric, creating beautiful textured patterns and designs.

Join us for this hands-on workshop and create your own unique piece to take home.

Come to Annandale NHS and learn the art of 3D paper quilling with Cindie McCormack. 3D paper quilling is the art of rolling, shaping, and layering strips of paper to create beautiful three-dimensional designs and decorations.

This “Kitschy Christmas Ornament Workshop” is all about embracing the bold, bright, and wonderfully weird side of the holidays. Whether you love vintage tackiness or just want to make something fabulously fun, this is the ultimate DIY event to let your creativity shine.

Then add or nominate your kitschiest creation to our “Oh Kitschmas Tree!” Ornament Contest for a chance to win prizes and the coveted Golden Glue Gun Trophy.
