The Town of Tillsonburg is completing a Transportation Master Plan to plan for future growth in the community. A Transportation Master Plan (TMP) is one of several strategic policy documents that direct how a municipality will grow and develop over the long term.

The Transportation Master Plan is being undertaken in accordance with the requirements outlined in the 2023 Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) Approach #1 (an approved process under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act).

The first Project Open House was held on June 26, 2024 to introduce the project, present background information, and seek feedback from residents on their ideas about potential improvements. Comments received at the first Public Open House have been considered as the project team has completed their technical work. This second Project Open House will present preliminary recommendations for transportation improvements to support planned growth and recommended policies to help the community manage the transportation system in the future.

Engaging the community is a vital component of this study. A Public Open House to present preliminary recommendations and allow members of the public to discuss their ideas with members of the project team has been scheduled for:

April 29, 2026
5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Presentation at 6:00 pm
Lions Den, Tillsonburg Community Centre
45 Hardy Avenue, Tillsonburg

The Open House will feature a drop in format with display material available for residents to review study material. A short presentation will be hosted at 6:00pm to summarize the preliminary recommendations followed by an opportunity for discussion with members of the project team.
