Intent to Declare Lands as Surplus
The Subject Property is described as a portion of municipally owned land on West Town Line and within the Potter’s Gate Plan of Subdivisions.
The purpose of this notice is to advise that the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg intends to declare a portion of municipally owned land on West Town Line and within the Potter’s Gate Plan of Subdivisions, as surplus to the needs of the Town at the July 13, 2026 Council Meeting.
The Subject Property is described as a portion of Block 59, Plan 41M-372. The intent of declaring these lands surplus is to sell a portion of the lands for residential development while retaining a portion for the development of a neighbourhood playground subject to final approval by Town Council.
SUBJECT PROPERTY

Interested parties will be required to enter into a legal agreement subject to approval by the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg. This notice is being provided in accordance with the Tillsonburg Land Disposition Bylaw 2021-031 and Section 270 (1) of the Municipal Act, 2001.

If declared surplus by Town Council, a period for interested parties to express their interest will be made public at a future date.

The written submissions including names and contact information and the report of the public meeting will be made available to the public.
