Residents are advised that Oxford County will be undertaking the Old Vienna Road Trunk Inlet Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project in Tillsonburg, with construction scheduled to begin October 19, 2026, and continue through mid-December 2026.

The project will require the closure of Old Vienna Road and the sidewalk between Van Street and Vienna Road for the duration of construction. Detour routes will be in place to help motorists navigate the area safely.

Trail Access During Construction

As part of the project, the trail connecting the Coronation Park parking lot to the Carroll Trail will be used by contractors to access the east side of the Tillsonburg Wastewater Treatment Plant at 19 Van Street.

While contractor vehicles will be using the trail corridor, the trail will remain open for pedestrian use throughout construction. Residents using the trail are asked to exercise caution, follow any posted signage, and be aware of construction-related activity in the area.
