Notice of the Passing of a Development Charges By-law

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the municipality of the Town of Tillsonburg passed municipal-wide development charges By-law No. 2024-067 on the 12th day of June, 2024 under section 2 (1) of the Development Charges Act, 1997, S.O., 1997 c. 27, as amended;

AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or organization may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal under section 14 of the Act, in respect of the development charges by-law, by filing with the Clerk of the Town of Tillsonburg on or before the 22nd day of July, 2024 a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the by-law and the reasons supporting the objection.

The schedule of development charges imposed by the by-law, which came into effect on June 13th, 2024, is as follows:

Indoor Pool Reopening Delayed

Please note the reopening of the indoor pool at the Tillsonburg Community Centre has been delayed as we work through the final steps of the inspection process.  

As a result, all aquatic programs will continue to operate at the Lake Lisgar Waterpark through Wednesday, August 5Pending successful completion of the follow-up inspection on Wednesday, August 5 we expect the indoor pool to reopen for regularly scheduled programs beginning Thursday, August 6. 

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue working to get the indoor pool reopened.
