Lake Lisgar Waterpark will open for the 2024 Summer Season on Saturday, June 15--just in time for Father's Day weekend and the annual Tillsonburg Turtlefest event ( www.turtlefest.ca ).

Admission to the waterpark, located at 8 Ross Street, will be free all day thanks to the generosity of hte Tillsonburg Lions Club. To avoid overcrowding and capacity issues, families are encouraged to pre-register using their Connect2Rec account .

Staff have surprises planned throughout the day, including pirate-themed games and a special turtle swag bag for the first 200 kids.

"We're excited to welcome visitors back to the waterpark and thrilled to unveil our newly renovated bathhouse facility," says Andrea Greenway, acting director of Recreation, Culture and Parks. "The updates we've made inside include new accessible washrooms and family-friendly changing areas. We've also added eye catching murals to the outside of the building."

Swimmers will also get their first chance to play on the new giant Tarzan-style inflatable. The waterpark will be open 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
