Town of Tillsonburg Winter Maintenance Service Update
The Town of Tillsonburg is committed to providing safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible winter maintenance services throughout the community. Our Winter Maintenance Season runs from November 15 to April 1, and during this time, Public Works crews work diligently to clear snow and manage ice on roadways, sidewalks, and municipal parking lots.
Service Priority:
- Main roads and connecting links are cleared first.
- Sidewalks near schools, hospitals, and commercial areas receive priority.
- Downtown municipal parking lots are serviced promptly for accessibility.
- Alleyways, cul-de-sacs, and dead ends are cleared after higher-priority routes, as conditions allow.
Please note:
- Snow may be pushed into driveways during plowing; property owners are responsible for clearing their entrances.
- Parking restrictions remain in effect as per the Traffic and Parking By-law.
- In severe weather, the Town may declare a Significant Weather Event, which will be communicated via our website and social media.
