Tillsonburg Update - November 2

NEW! Leaf Collection Program

Loose leaf collection will begin October 9 and run through November 24.

This year every Tillsonburg resident will enjoy seven (7) weeks of curbside leaf collection. No more zones. No more rushing to get your leaves raked for a certain week. No more fretting about uncooperative weather.

Simply rake or place your leaves at the curb or edge of the street at any time during the collection period and we’ll do the rest! Please do not cover storm grates or clog roadside ditches.

Sanitary Sewer Flushing

Sanitary sewer flushing will occur in areas south of Concession Street West and west of Rolph Street until the end of November. Affected neighbourhoods include Baldwin Place, Bridle Path, Edgewood Dr., Hickory Hills, Reynolds Way, Trottier, Victoria Wood, Westmount, Whispering Pines and Woodhaven. The work will be performed on weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. During this work, a vacuum effect may be noticed in your drains and/or toilets. If you notice this occurring, close all toilet seats and cover any floor drains during the flushing period.
