Watermain Flushing

The Town of Tillsonburg is continuing its spring water system maintenance program.

April 13- May 31
Directional flushing of watermains in all areas south of North Street and east of Tillson Avenue/Vienna Road.

Flushing will begin each morning at 8:00 a.m. and conclude by 3:00 p.m. Residents may notice some cloudy or discoloured water when watermain flushing occurs. These temporary side effects are not hazardous to the public and can be resolved by turning on the cold water taps to clear the system. If discolouring continues beyond a three-day period, please contact Customer Service at 519.688.3009.

 

Scheduled Power Outage

Hydro One has scheduled a community-wide power outage for Sunday, April 30 from 4:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. This outage will affect all Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. customers. Meeting Highlights

Council recognized Fire Chief Shane Caskanette for 30 years of fire service (2:40)

Council approved proposed amendments to the Community Strategic Plan. The resolution also included direction on communication enhancements to be deployed in 2023 (13:05)

Council amended Sign By-Law 3798 to lift restrictions on temporary banner signs (32:58)

70s “Recycled” Fashion Workshop

Join artist Stella Jurgen in creating wearable art made from recycled materials inspired by the 1970s. All materials and supplies are provided. Lunch is provided.
