Town of Tillsonburg Reaffirms Support for Downtown Tillsonburg BIA Board

TILLSONBURG, ON – Tillsonburg Town Council reaffirms its support for the Downtown Tillsonburg Business Improvement Area (DTBIA) Board of Management.

Following the Town’s auditor’s review of financial records related to six transactions referenced in an anonymous letter, the records were found to be properly accounted for, and no financial irregularities were identified. As a result, Council has classified the anonymous letter as vexatious in nature and determined it to be without merit.

Council also reaffirmed its continued confidence in and support for the DTBIA Board of Management.

This public statement of support reinforces Council’s commitment to a strong and successful downtown.
