Sanitary Sewer Flushing
Sanitary sewer maintenance will be completed in parts of central west Tillsonburg from July 31 until August 31.
The work will be performed on weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Affected neighbourhoods include Baldwin Place, Bridlepath, Hickory Hills, Reynolds Way, Trottier, Victoria Wood, Westmount, Whispering Pines and Woodhaven. View map (Area 1b) for complete details.
Contractors will be working in different areas of the highlighted area. Please note high traffic areas may be flushed after 7:00 p.m. to ensure safety for contractors and residents.
During this work, a bubbling and/or vacuum effect may be noticed in your drains and/or toilets. If you notice this occurring, close all toilet seats and cover any floor drains during the flushing period. In order to prevent sewer gases from migrating into the home, it is important to refill all plumbing traps by running the water in your sinks and floor drains after the work is complete.
