Municipal Election 2022: All Candidates Debate

Tillsonburg District Chamber of Commerce will host an All Candidates Debate on Wednesday, October 12 at 6:00 p.m. at the Tillsonburg Community Centre Lions Auditorium (45 Hardy Ave.).

Public Information Centre for Kinsmen Bridge Replacement

The Town of Tillsonburg has retained the services of Planmac Engineering Inc. to undertake the Detail Design for the replacement of Kinsmen Bridge.

A Public Information Centre (PIC) will be held during this study to provide the public with the opportunity to discuss the project and provide input to the Project Team.

Citizen of the Year Nominations

Each year the Town of Tillsonburg recognizes an individual who makes an outstanding contribution to the Town of Tillsonburg, with no expectation of personal gain. Nominations for Citizen of the Year are received on an annual basis. Volunteering of personal time and talent towards the betterment of our community are hallmarks of this award. Nominees can be recommended either for outstanding contributions to the community in the past year, or over a number of years.

The Town of Tillsonburg’s Cultural, Heritage and Special Awards Advisory Committee will review all nominations, giving consideration to:

• The length and impact of service
• The uniqueness of the nominee’s efforts
• The extent to which the nominee supports and involves other people
• The challenges and/or barriers the nominee has overcome in order to contribute.

Dead End Flushing

Please be advised that dead end flushing will be conducted in the following areas

Flushing will begin each morning at 8:00 a.m. and conclude by 3:00 p.m. Discolouring may occur in the watermains as a result. Running cold water will help clear your household lines.If discolouring continues beyond a three-day period, please contact Customer Service at 519.688.3009.

Small Wonders Art Show & Sale

Annandale NHS and Oxford Creative Connections Inc. present this fall art show and sale, featuring unique, small holiday gifts. All pieces of art are no larger than 12 by 14 inches. Plus, 20% of the sales go to the Annandale House Trust.
