Bid Opportunity posted by the Town of Tillsonburg and Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. 2.4kV to 16kV Underground Conversion Project

November 16 at 6:00 p.m. in Downtown Tillsonburg

The purpose of this notice is to advise that the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg intends to declare a portion of the municipally owned Hale Street Right-of-Way, previously closed by Bylaw 2082, as surplus to the needs of the Town at the October 14, 2025 Council Meeting.

Mayor Deb Gilvesy has issued a statement to provide clarification on recent information and discussions regarding 400 Simcoe Street (The Norfolk Mall), and to thank Norfolk County for their press release on this matter.

The purpose of this notice is to advise that the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg intends to declare a portion of the municipally owned Otter Lane Right-of-Way as surplus to the needs of the Town at the November 10, 2025 Council Meeting.

From November 1-6, drop off unneeded pumpkins, decorative squash and gourds into the collection bin, located in the Yard Waste area (Transfer Station, 50 Newell Road). Residents, companies, restaurants and/or farmers are welcome to take this product to use in recipes, feed, etc.

The Town of Tillsonburg will be continuing water system maintenance from October 27-November 7, 2025.
