Sanitary sewer maintenance will occur in Tillsonburg between June 17 and August 31.

Catchment areas 4,5 and 6 (shaded in yellow, purple and blue on the map ) will be affected. The flushing work will be performed on weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. However, high traffic areas may be flushed after 7:00 p.m. to ensure safety for contractors and residents.

During this work, a bubbling and/or vacuum effect may be noticed in your drains and/or toilets. If you notice this occurring, close all toilet seats and cover any floor drains during the flushing period. In order to prevent sewer gases from migrating into the home, it is important to refill all plumbing traps by running the water in your sinks and floor drains after the work is complete.
