Water System Maintenance

The Town of Tillsonburg will be conducting dead end flushing in the following areas:

March 4-15
Areas north of Concession Street

March 18-29
Areas south of Concession Street

Residents may notice temporary cloudy or discoloured water when flushing occurs. You can help clear your line by simply turning on the cold water.

In Focus: Youth Citizen’s Police Academy

The OPP is seeking mature, motivated, and community-minded individuals who are between 16 and 18 years-of-age and represent Oxford County’s diverse communities to join a Youth Citizen’s Police Academy.

Chosen participants will hear from a variety of specialty units such as Crime, K9 Services, Emergency Response Team (ERT), Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), In-Service Training, Recruiting, and more. The program will run in Tillsonburg every Wednesday for six weeks (April 17 - May 29), with classes running from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Applications are available at 90 Concession Street East. The deadline to submit applications is Friday, March 15, 2024.

Participants must pass a security check prior to selection. A valid photo identification is also required.

Youth Programs

There’s still time to sign your child up for these exciting dance classes:

Teeny Tiny Ballerinas
A beginner ballet program for ages 3-5 that includes gentle introductions to feet and arm positions, as well as centre and cross floor exercises. Offered Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Beginner Dance
Designed for ages 6-8, this program teaches a new style of dance each week. Participants will pick the style they prefer and then create a routine for the final class. Runs Wednesdays.
