Do you own a dog or a cat?

The Animal Control Bylaw requires that all dogs and cats in Tillsonburg be licenced annually. A licence allows Animal Control to identify your pet, get in touch with you, and make decisions that are in the best interest of your pet should it become lost or injured.

Fees and Fines

Licences are required for all dogs and cats living in Tillsonburg. Licences must be renewed every year prior to the expiration date. Failure to present a valid licence will result in a fine of $105.00. 

Please note that Tillsonburg's licensing program operates on a calendar year. This means that all licences expire on January 1, regardless of when the licence was purchased.

Late fees will be applied to licences purchased or renewed after March 31.

When will my pet tag arrive?
Typically pet tags are received in the mail 8-10 business days after your order if processed. Our Town records will show you have an active licence from the time of purchase.
Can I get a replacement tag?

You can order a replacement tag by logging in to your account and clicking the green "order replacement tags" button or call 1-855-249-1370 to order over the phone.
