Committee Mandate

The Museum Advisory Committee makes recommendations to Council on policies and procedures relating to Annandale National Historic Site.

The Museum Advisory Committee is responsible for:

  • Advising and informing Council of new legislation and funding initiatives
  • Developing working relationships with various groups and organizations to promote the museum
  • Assisting with the development of education programs and activities
  • Providing advice and information to Council with regards to parks and recreation issues
  • Working in partnership with the Tillsonburg and District Historical Society
  • Providing advice on the acquisition, preservation and exhibition of items in the museum's collection

Committee Composition
The Museum Advisory Committee is comprised of six members of the public, and a member of Tillsonburg Town Council.
Meeting Time & Location
The Museum Advisory Committee meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at 4:30 p.m. at Annandale National Historic Site, 30 Tillson Avenue, Tillsonburg, ON.
