There are various Boards that operate within the Town of Tillsonburg, including:

  • BIA Board of Management
  • Police Services Board
  • Physician Recruitment Committee

Committees of Council 

Citizen-led advisory committees are an important source of information, advice and feedback for Council.

Members of the public are invited to apply for these committees through the Clerk's Office and committee appointments last four years to coincide with the term of Council.  Committee members are typically chosen for their skill set and relevant expertise.

There are nine (9) active Committees that Council has established.  These Committees include:

  • Accessibility Advisory Committee
  • Culture, Heritage and Special Awards Advisory Committee
  • Economic Development Advisory Committee
  • Memorial Park Revitalization Project Advisory Committee
  • Museum Advisory Committee
  • Parks. Beautification & Cemeteries Advisory Committee
  • Recreation and Sports Advisory Committee
  • Tillsonburg Airport Advisory Committee
  • Tillsonburg Transit Advisory Committee

Committee Vacancies
Council appoints members of the community to the various committees listed above. When there are vacant positions to be filled by Council appointment, the Municipal Clerk publishes a public notice inviting residents of Tillsonburg to apply.
