Something big is happening at Lake Lisgar Waterpark!

Have you heard? The giant twister waterslide at Lake Lisgar Waterpark is being replaced for the 2020 summer season.

Beginning Monday, March 30, 2020, crews will create a fenced construction zone west of the Waterpark building.

The paved pathway connecting Ross Street to John Street will also be closed to ensure the safe delivery of supplies and equipment. Pedestrians and cyclists are asked to detour on Denton Street or the trail alongside Lake Lisgar during this time.

While it’s still unclear when the Lake Lisgar Waterpark will open for the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, making this repair now will ensure that the facility is able to be fully functional when the time comes.

We are anticipating that the demolition and construction will be completed by mid June. Thanks for your patience and follow our progress below:
