The Town of Tillsonburg undertakes various construction projects throughout the spring, summer and fall. This work can range from minor curb or sidewalk repairs, to full road reconstruction projects and may result in traffic delays.

Project: 101-020 Rolling Meadows - Phase 1 of 2 |
Project Description: The Rolling Meadows Reconstruction Phase 1 of 2 (Tanager & Falcon) project limits are from Tanager from Owl to Falcon and Falcon from North Street to Canary Street. The project involves the complete reconstruction of the pavement structure including new barrier curb and gutter, sidewalks, the installation of new storm sewers and catch basins along Tanager, new watermain and service laterals, new sanitary sewers along Tanager and sanitary sewer repairs along Falcon. Project Description: Road rehabilitation work along Oxford Street from Broadway to Tillson Avenue continuing along Simcoe Street from Tillson Avenue to Vienna Road. Affected streets:

The Town of Tillsonburg uses a pavement management system to determine which streets should be resurfaced in any given year. Pavement conditions, pavement age, traffic volumes and maintenance records all influence the timing and need for resurfacing.
If your street is selected for resurfacing, you will receive an Asphalt Paving Program Notice approximately two (2) weeks before construction begins. The work on each street will take six (6) to eight (8) weeks to complete. Construction takes place in phases and there may be delays between each stage.
