Tillsonburg offers its residents year-round large item disposal at the Tillsonburg Transfer Station (50 Newell Road). The facility also offers a yard waste depot available to all Oxford County residents.  Users must present valid ID that contains a current address before entering the facility.

Hours of Operation

Temporary Closure

Residents are reminded that the Transfer Station remains closed for site works. It is anticipated that the site will re-open to the public in early October.

Oxford County Waste Management Facility (Salford Landfill) also accepts large items and yard waste materials as well as household hazardous waste materials.  In addition, yard waste can also be taken to 9 other locations, free of charge throughout the County including Ingersoll, Norwich and Otterville.
