The Tillsonburg and District Historical Society is a local, independent society that preserves and celebrates local history.

The Society was founded in 1973 to develop and support Tillsonburg's first museum. In the 1980s, the Society played a major role in the restoration of Annandale House, eventually securing its designation as a National Historic Site.
