Parks, Beautification and Cemeteries Advisory Committee Re: RCP 21-12 Cemetery By-Law Final Draft Update
Christine Nagy, Chair, Parks, Beautification and Cemeteries Advisory Committee, appeared before Council to provide support for the proposed Cemetery By-Law. Council agreed with the recommendations provided by the Advisory Committee and requested that the proposed by-law be brought forward for approval at the May 25, 2021 Council meeting.

The Town of Tillsonburg strives to ensure that the public is involved in all aspects of developing a safe, healthy and happy community.

The Town’s Clean Yard By-Law 3810 regulates yard maintenance standards within Town limits. The current By-Law was adopted by Council in 2014. Since that time, “natural” or “English” gardens have become a trend in gardening, and By-Law Services has received complaints regarding these types of unmaintained gardens.

The precautionary boil water advisory for Tanager Drive and Falcon Road that was issued following yesterday's watermain break has been lifted and is no longer in effect. All necessary repairs have been made. The County of Oxford and Town of Tillsonburg thank residents for their patience.

Oxford County and the Town of Tillsonburg are advising residents of a water main break on May 5 affecting 12 homes on Tanager Drive and Falcon Road in Tillsonburg. Affected homes have received hand-delivered notices advising residents to boil water as a precaution until repairs are completed. 

The County and Town are working to complete repair of the water main as quickly as possible. Customers in the area may be without water during the repair. Please watch for further updates...
