Public Meeting - 2021 Development Charges Update Study

The Town of Tillsonburg will have the opportunity to meet with Minister of Transportation Caroline Mulroney as part of the 2021 Ontario Good Roads Association (OGRA) Conference (February 22-25).

Flags at Town of Tillsonburg facilities have been lowered to half mast in honour of former Fire Chief Terry Saelens.

Saelens passed away on February 14, 2021 at the age of 67.

Chief Saelens started his career in the fire service in 1973 and served the Town of Tillsonburg for 47 years. During that time, he climbed the ranks from firefighter, to captain, to deputy fire chief, and finally acting fire chief. He retired on April 30, 2020.

Residents living in the area south of Lisgar Ave., east of Broadway Ave., north of Concession Street and West of Tillson Ave. may not receive curbside waste and recycling collection until tomorrow, February 18. 

If your garbage and recycling were not collected yesterday (Feb. 16), please put it out again, tomorrow Feb. 18, by 7:00 a.m. for collection.
