With key public health and health care indicators starting to show signs of improvement, the Ontario government, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health, will gradually ease public health measures, starting on January 31, 2022.

All fitness classes at the Tillsonburg Community Centre will resume at that time. The Health Club and both arenas will also resume operations. Proof of vaccination (QR code) required for entry. Start 2022 off right with one of these programs:

Ontario will return to the modified version of Step Two of the Roadmap to Reopen effective Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 12:01 a.m. for at least 21 days (until January 26, 2022), subject to trends in public health and health system indicators. 

These measures include but are not limited to:

Please be advised that sanitary sewer flushing will occur in areas east of Broadway beginning December 20, 2021. The work will be performed on weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. until February 2022. Contractors will be working in different areas of the highlighted area (see attached map). Please note high traffic areas may be flushed after 7:00 p.m. to ensure safety for contractors and residents.

Effective January 4, 2022, Ontario will begin requiring the use of the enhanced vaccine certificate with QR code and the Verify Ontario app in settings where proof of vaccination is required, including recreation centres. Please note that anyone who does not present an enhanced vaccine certificate with QR code will not be allowed entry into the Tillsonburg Community Centre beginning January 4.
