The Town of Tillsonburg is pleased to announce that the J.L. Scott McLean Outdoor Recreation Pad, located beside the Tillsonburg Community Centre successfully opened to the public today.

The facility features a refrigerated 60’x120’ surface which will function as an ice rink in the winter, and a venue for street hockey and basketball the rest of the year. The facility is named for J.L. Scott McLean, a local businessman and minor sports coach who passed away suddenly...

The Town of Tillsonburg has awarded a contract to Coco Paving Inc of London ON for the re-construction of the Highway 3 and Clearview Drive intersection in the Town of Tillsonburg.  The project includes the addition of a tapered turn lanes and the entrance to the future Clearview Drive South.  The extent of the intersection improvements are shown below and extend across a 550 metre section of Highway 3 centered on Clearview Drive.  Construction works are scheduled...

Attention all drivers! Flashing 40 km/hr signs have now been installed in front of the following schools:

  • Monsignor J.H. O’Neil
  • South Ridge Public School
  • Westfield Public School

As per Traffic Bylaw 3701, the speed limit is reduced to 40 km/hr when these beacons are flashing. Violators will charged.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The Lake Lisgar Waterpark slide will NOT be operational for the entire 2018 season.  The slide tower has been deemed unsafe for all users.  Staff members will be holding public consultations in the near future to develop a long-term plan for the waterpark and related water features.
