The Fall Watermain Flushing Program is continuing, targeting watermain dead ends and cul-de-sacs in the following areas:

  • All areas north of Concession Street  (October 18-22)
  • All areas south of Concession Street (October 25-29)

Flushing will begin each morning at 8:00 a.m.  and conclude by 3:00 p.m.

On October 6, Southwestern Public Health announced additional proof of vaccination requirements for recreational facilities that host organized sports.

Beginning October 31, proof of COVID-19 vaccination and identity will be required for anyone 12 years of age and older who enters an indoor area of a sports or recreational fitness facility to participate in, coach, officiate, or watch organized sport.

Due to cooler fall weather, the Lake Lisgar Waterpark will not be open for swimming this weekend as previously announced. Please join us for community swims at the indoor pool at the Tillsonburg Community Centre on Saturday and Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

As of September 22, 2021, the Province of Ontario will require members of the public to be fully vaccinated to access certain public settings, including recreation centres (O/Reg 645/21).

To enter the Tillsonburg Community Centre, visitors and program patrons must provide proof of full vaccination as well as proof of identity (such as a driver’s licence or health card) as required by the law. A copy of your vaccine receipt will be accepted as proof.
