The Town of Tillsonburg will begin transitioning to a new cloud-based recreation management system on May 10.

“We’re really excited about introducing Connect2Rec 2.0,” says Chris Baird, Director of Recreation, Culture and Parks. “The new system will make it easier than ever for users to register for programs, book facilities and manage their account preferences online.”

Hydro One has a planned hydro outage that will impact the Town of Tillsonburg and all Tillsonburg Hydro customers. 

Please note that hydro service will be interrupted in Tillsonburg as follows:

  • March 21—5:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. (EDT)

This outage is required to allow equipment upgrades to be made.

Effective immediately, the J.L. Scott McLean Outdoor Recreation Pad will offer open skating only. No sticks, pucks or rings will be allowed for the foreseeable future. This change is being made to avoid crowding and limit the potential transmission of COVID-19. All users are reminded to stay a minimum of 2 metres away from anyone who does not live in their immediate household.
