The Town of Tillsonburg began advising indoor pool users earlier today that due to ongoing lifeguard shortages in the aquatics area, a number of programs will not be available this summer at the Tillsonburg Community Centre.

The Town's Traffic Bylaw prohibits overnight parking on all streets from November 15 - March 31, between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. This allows snowplow operators to safely and efficiently remove snow from local roadways.

Remember too, that according to the Highway Traffic Act and the Snow and Ice Removal Bylaw, residents may not deposit snow onto the roadway or sidewalk. When clearing snow, pile it on your property--not onto the sidewalk, road or across the road.

Due to the Broadway road closure on November 11 for Remembrance Day ceremonies, the following T:GO routes/stops will be affected: 

  • In-Town Transit Stop #1 (Town Centre Mall) will be relocated to HARVEY ST (BELL BUILDING) for the 11AM and 12PM pick-up/drop-offs.
     
  • In-Town Transit Stop #16A (Tillsonburg Library) will NOT be serviced at 10:28AM, 11:28AM & 12:28PM.

Remembrance Day ceremonies will be held in Tillsonburg on Thursday, November 11, 2021.

Broadway (between Bridge Street and Ridout Street) will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The Silent Walk will depart from Veteran's Walkway at Rolph Street beginning at 10:30 a.m. Members of the public are invited to participate.
