The Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg intends to declare a portion of Brookside Lane, formerly intended for use as a municipal right of way, as surplus to the Town’s needs and to be transferred back to the developer.

Long-time municipal Councillor Brian Stephenson passed away suddenly in Sauble Beach on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the age of 67.

As a Town Councillor, Brian was a tireless advocate for the citizens of Tillsonburg serving on various committees such as the special awards committee, the accessibility advisory committee and the Canada 150 committee. His passion for an inclusive community was recently reinforced by his leadership role on the Transit Advisory Committee.

The Lake Lisgar Waterpark slide will NOT be operational for the entire 2018 season.  The slide tower has been deemed unsafe for all users.  Staff members will be holding public consultations in the near future to develop a long-term plan for the waterpark and related water features.

As a result of this closure, the Town of Tillsonburg will be extending the waterpark hours.  The park will be now open daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM....

The Town of Tillsonburg would like to announce that effective immediately, the Annandale Ball Diamonds will be closed until construction is completed on Concession Street East.  For your safety, there will be no public access on the grounds until further notice.

All booked use and seasonal contracts for Annandale Ball Diamonds are hereby cancelled and contracts will be reissued with amended dates and fees once they are confirmed.

After several months of consultation, Tillsonburg Town Council has come to a consensus on the 2018 Budget and Business Plans.

“Budget deliberations are always challenging,” says Mayor Stephen Molnar. “But we’ve tried to achieve a balance between planning for the future and addressing immediate needs, while remaining committed to the vision in our Community Strategic Plan.”
