The Town of Tillsonburg is preparing to welcome 85 ringette teams this coming weekend during the Western Regional Championships.

Teams playing in the annual year-end tournament (March 29-31) include Chatham, Dorchester, Elora-Fergus, Exeter/Seaforth, Forest, Goderich, Guelph, Hanover, Kitchener, London, Mitchell, Owen Sound, St. Clements, St. Marys, St. Thomas, Waterloo, Wellington North, Woolwich and of course, Tillsonburg.

The Town of Tillsonburg is pleased to announce that the J.L. Scott McLean Outdoor Recreation Pad, located beside the Tillsonburg Community Centre successfully opened to the public today.

The facility features a refrigerated 60’x120’ surface which will function as an ice rink in the winter, and a venue for street hockey and basketball the rest of the year. The facility is named for J.L. Scott McLean, a local businessman and minor sports coach who passed away suddenly...
