Public Meeting - Zoning By-Law Amendment

Purpose and Effect of the Proposed Zone Change
It is proposed to amend the Town of Tillsonburg Zoning By-Law to introduce a number of clarifications, new definitions, and minor
mapping changes to incorporate necessary updates and correct minor errors.

It is also proposed to:
• Introduce provisions respecting Source Water Protection;
• Provide clarification for permitted projections for decks and covered porches;
• Increased permitted lot coverage for R1 & R1A lots;
• Eliminate minimum dwelling unit sizes for apartments & dwellings;
• Introduce retail pet store, pet grooming business, microbrewery as permitted uses within specific commercial zones.

This will affect all lands within the Town of Tillsonburg.
