Maple Leafs Alumni will play in Tillsonburg February 15, 2020

Wendel Clark and other members of the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni hockey team are coming to Tillsonburg. The team will play at Kinsmen Memorial Arena in Tillsonburg on Family Day weekend (February 15), facing off in a fundraising game supporting Fee Assisted Recreational Experiences (FARE) in Tillsonburg.

“FARE is a program that provides financial assistance to individuals of any age who would otherwise be unable to experience recreation and cultural programs run by the Town of Tillsonburg,” explains Rick Cox, Director of Recreation, Culture and Parks.

Since FARE was implemented, 200 families have utilized the program and 536 individuals have enjoyed recreation programs free of charge.

In addition to Clark, the Maple Leafs Alumni roster is expected to include Jean - Sèbastien Aubin, Dave McLlawain Rick Vaive, Craig Muni, Rick Walmsley, and others.

Tickets for the game are available on Eventbrite.com beginning Thursday, November 28 at noon, with a variety of seating options and VIP experiences available for purchase.

The Maple Leafs Alumni will be playing the FARE Flurry, a team composed of representatives from the various ice user groups at the Community Centre. In addition, three player spots and a goalie position will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
