CS 22-02 Accessibility Status Update 2021

Council received the Corporate Services report CS 22-02 Accessibility Status Update 2021, as information.

CS 22-03 Council Meeting Date Change - February 28

Council changed their scheduled March 3rd Council meeting to February 28, 2022 due to the postponement of the Good Roads Conference.

Council received Corporate Services report CS 22-05 Vaccination Data as information.

EDM 22-03 Offer to Purchase - Lot 2B, Van Norman Innovation Park

Council received Economic Development report EDM 22-03 Offer to Purchase - Lot 2B, Van Norman Innovation Park and Council authorized an agreement of purchase and sale with North Ridge Realty (2020) Inc. for the property described as Lot 2B in the Van Norman Innovation Park.

EDM 22-04 Funding of Remaining Costs - Purchase of 1101 Hwy 3 Property

Council received Economic Development report EDM 22-04 Funding of Remaining Costs - Purchase of the 1101 Highway 3 Property and the remaining costs, net of revenue and debt financing, for the purchase of the 1101 Highway 3 Property be funded from the Economic Development Reserve in the amount of $34,165.77.

OPD 22-05 - Sign Variance - 262 Broadway

Council received Operations report OPD 22-05 Sign Variance – 262 Broadway and approved a variance to Sign By-Law 3798 to permit an animated LED sign of 0.82 sq. m. be incorporated into a proposed new ground sign within a Neighbourhood Commercial Zone and be located within 9 metres of a residential use located at 262 Broadway (Lot 998, Plan 500).

OPD 22-06 Renaming of Coon Alley to Raccoon Alley

Council received Operations report OPD 22-06 and approved the renaming of Coon Alley to Raccoon Alley

OPD 22-07 - Traffic By-Law Comprehensive Review - Follow-up

Council received Operations report OPD 22-07 – Traffic By-Law Comprehensive Review - and approved the new updated Traffic By-Law.

OPD 22-08 TGO Advertising Policy Revision

Council received Operation report OPD 22-08 T:GO Advertising Policy Revision and approved the proposed policy and associated fees.

RCP 22-02 Recreation and Sports Advisory Committee Recommendation to Council - Kinsmen Pedestrian Bridge

Council received Recreation report RCP 22-02 which was a recommendation from the Recreation and Sports Advisory Committee recognizing the importance of the Kinsmen pedestrian bridge as a connecting pedestrian link in Tillsonburg and that Option 1 provided in staff report OPD 21-46 of Nov 23, 2021 to council be removed from consideration and options 2, 3 and 4 be considered for implementation.

RCP 22-04 -Ontario Trillium Fund (OTF) Grant for the Tillsonburg Community Centre

Council received Recreation report RCP 22-02 which confirmed that a recent grant application under the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Community Building Fund - Capital Stream was successful in securing $148,500 to “Repair, renovate or retrofit existing sport and recreation facilities to help strengthen communities” as part of the wider strategy to support Ontario’s recovery from COVID-19 impacts.
