2021 Development Charges Update - Notice of Public Meeting

Posted on Thursday January 21, 2021

In September, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing advised that amendments had been made to the Development Charges Act and the Planning Act by Bill 108, the More Homes, More Choice Act, and Bill 197, The COVID-19 Economic Recovery Act. Regulations were also filed that finalized the framework for development charges, community benefit, and parkland.
