The Town of Tillsonburg announces, with sadness, the passing of Councillor Fred Lewis. Councillor Lewis' contributions to the community and the Corporation over the past decade were significant as he served on a number of committees including the Police Services Board, the Town of Tillsonburg’s Governance Committee, the Tillsonburg District Chamber of Commerce and the Long Point Region Conservation Authority. Tillsonburg Hydro Incorporated (THI) was also the beneficiary of Fred’s knowledge and business acumen. As chair of the THI’s Governance Committee, he was instrumental in facilitating the development of policies and procedures that positioned THI well for the future. Fred also served as Chair of the Otter Valley Recreation Trail and Utility Coordinator.
