It's that time of year where family and friends love to spend time outdoors.  With the evenings cool, what a perfect time to sit around a small fire.  Within the Town of Tillsonburg there are rules that apply.  By-law 3072 outlines what is acceptable.  There are two links listed below.  The first link outlines specifically the rules for recreational burning.  The second is the By-law 3072 in its entirety.

Item K within the text is a key area.  You may follow all other items within the by-law but if somebody complains then the fire must be extinguished.  It is our recommendation that you advise your neighbours you are installing a recreational fire appliance.  Ask them that if they have a complaint to call you first.
